You can search for available WiFi networks and select your preferred network under the Settings section.
You can also enter a password in this section when connecting to a password-protected network.
Note that networks that require a browser page login (such as airport or hotel WiFi) will not work with the Legends Ultimate arcade cabinet.
You can update the firmware by going the Settings menu to connect to WiFi. Once you’re connected to WiFi or a wired internet connection you can initiate the firmware update by selecting [Check Version] in the Settings menu.
Here are the criteria for ALU to upload your high score online:
– you must be running firmware 4.0.0 or later
– it must be a new record, we do not read from your previous records or the game’s default scores
– your score must be on your local leaderboard, the upload only happens when a change is detected in the high score file
– you must achieve the score without using rewind or loading from a saved state, no cheating!
– you must be connected to the internet and logged into your ArcadeNet account
– only 1 score will be saved per account, only your highest score will show up on the leaderboard
If you are unable to download a new firmware update, please check that your router’s firewall settings are not blocking the Legends Ultimate’s connection. You can try to temporarily disable your firewall to download the firmware.

No you don’t, the [Check Version] button in the Settings menu does not require an ArcadeNet login to function.
If you have not yet update your arcade, you are able to browse games based on various genres and publisher names on the arcade cabinet. You can find the genre sort option in the bottom right-hand side of both the Arcade and Console sections, and you can rotate through the options available by highlighting the genre sort and then press left or right on your joystick. (Version 1.0.11.)
If you have already updated the arcade, you are able to browse games using the filter on the left side of the Games section. You can filter the games by publisher or platform. (Version 2.0.0.)
You can adjust the volume through the volume adjuster on the top right corner of the controller deck.
The Legends Ultimate arcade only supports resolutions up to 1080p, changing to higher resolution is not supported and may cause system crashes.

Yes, with the excepting of Atari Flashback Blast! Vol.3 (WD3307), most of the AtGames Blast! products are supported by the Legends Ultimate arcade. Users are able to play their favorite Blast! games using the arcade controller after pairing the dongle to the arcade.

Yes we support plug and play in the arcade menu; but please refrain from adding/removing USB devices during gameplay, as this may crash the arcade and will require a restart if it happens.
You can change the button mapping when you’re in the game by pressing the [START] and pushing the Player 1 Joystick to the [Right] direction.
Press [MENU] when you’re inside the game; if button mapping is available to the game you will be able to select it in the menu. Press [A] in the next screen and follow the prompt to map both Player’s buttons.
Press [MENU] during gameplay, go down to “Display Mode” and move left/right to select from the 4 options (Center, Fit, Fill, Pixel Perfect).

Yes, you may play additional games via ArcadeNet, BYOG, and APL. Please refer to the quick start guide in page 8 of the instruction manual.
When connecting to a BYOG server it will take 3-5 minutes for the server to start up. Once the server is up your arcade will be connected to the server.
If you exit BYOG, the server will remain powered on for 15 minutes. If you try to connect back in to the server with in these 15 minutes you will be able to connect instantly to the server. If you try to connect back in to the server after this 15 minutes, you’ll have to wait for the server to start up again.
Your BYOG server has 250GB of storage space available for you to install games.
You will need to update the arcade to the newest version to enable ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™. Go to the Settings section to update the arcade. Make sure you’re connected to the internet either through WiFi or a wired network connection.
Make sure you have a stable network connection with your arcade. Make sure there is no other device using your network connection such as a computer downloading large files or a TV streaming video. If your cabinet supports wired connections, try connecting an Ethernet cable directly to your cabinet from your router.
If you’re having trouble with ArcadeNet™ connectivity, please restart your router and modem. Once your router and modem are back online, please power off your Legends Ultimate, then power it back on and try again.
To exit a ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™ cloud desktop you will need to press the [MENU] button once to bring up the dashboard. Then you can use the joystick to select QUIT to exit.

Yes, you can use the trackball to move the mouse cursor. When BYOG’s controls are set to AUTO mode, once you move the trackball, the joystick buttons [A], [B], [C] will become the left, middle and right click on a mouse.
There is no virtual keyboard available in this moment.
The arcade cabinet’s buttons act like the main buttons on an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. Thus, once you successfully launch a game using your keyboard and mouse as described above, you’re able to go into the game’s settings and try mapping the game’s buttons to the cabinet’s buttons. It may take some trial and error as BYOG is a do-it-yourself feature, but it is applicable for most games. Some games, however, will not work simply because their control schemes were never meant for an arcade cabinet’s controls. For example, first-person games that require two joysticks per player on a regular console controller will not work on the arcade cabinet since it only has one joystick per player. We recommend experimenting and searching online for anyone making recommendations for what works!
If you still have BYOG hours remaining on your account, the BYOG servers will keep your server data available for 1 week. After 1 week of inactivity, your server data will be deleted. If you do not have any BYOG hours remaining on your account, the BYOG servers will keep your server data available for 24 hours. After 24 hours of inactivity, your server data will be deleted.
Your BYOG account will be disconnected from the server if you are idle for more than 15 minutes.
The multiplayer feature is meant for streamed games only, they are marked with a “cloud” badge on the boxart.
ArcadeNetLink app lets the user setup a streaming server from your home PC. You can then connect to your home PC from the BYOG menu to stream games from your own network.

No. Currently ArcadeNetLink app only supports Windows 10.
This is by design. When the arcade is connected to the PC through the ArcadeNetLink app, the arcade will display a local mouse cursor on the arcade. To prevent seeing 2 mouse cursors (one from the arcade and one from the PC), the one on the PC is hidden until the arcade disconnects from the PC.
A Virtual Audio Cable device is installed when first installing ArcadeNetLink app. This allows the ArcadeNetLink app to pass your audio from your PC to your arcade. This should be automatically changed before and reverted after a streaming session, but if it doesn’t, please manually change the audio device on your PC back to the correct device in order to have audio out of your PC again.
Please quit local streaming and change the display mode of the game to “Windows Mode” and try again. This is specific to particular games’ video mode and cannot be changed on the Arcade-side.
Please verify if “Virtual Audio Cable” is set as your default audio playback device, this is required for ArcadeNetLink to run properly.
