How do I power on the arcade?

To power on the arcade, simply plug in the AC adapter and press the power button to turn on.

What is the height of the full size home arcade?

The height of the full size home arcade is 66.44″.

What are the product dimensions?

Full size of home arcade: 29.53 x 22.71 x 66.44 inches.

We have two slightly different box sizes for Legends Ultimate Home Arcade:

31.89 x 20.08 x 45.28 inches.

What's the size of the LCD?

The size of the LCD is 24.5″.

What is the screen resolution?

1080p.

Do I need to insert coins to play?

No coins are required.

Do I have to assemble the cabinet?

Yes, assembly is required, the assembly procedure is easy and straightforward. Please refer to the assembly guide in the instruction manual or refer to the Support Page for assembly videos.

Is there any warranty on the home arcade?

The manufacturer warrants this product to be free and clear of defects in the materials and workmanship, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of thirty (30) days from the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. To make a Warranty claim, please submit a service request here: support@atgames.net.

How do I reset to factory settings?

  1. Power off the arcade.
  2. Press and hold down START + MENU buttons, as well as the recovery button via a pin.
  3. Power on the arcade.
  4. Release the recovery button once the LCD turns on.
  5. Release START and MENU buttons once you see the factory reset prompt and follow the instructions.

Technical

How do I connect my arcade cabinet to the internet?

You can search for available WiFi networks and select your preferred network under the Settings section.

You can also enter a password in this section when connecting to a password-protected network.

Note that networks that require a browser page login (such as airport or hotel WiFi) will not work with the Legends Ultimate arcade cabinet.

How do I find a particular game I want to play?

If you have not yet update your arcade, you are able to browse games based on various genres and publisher names on the arcade cabinet. You can find the genre sort option in the bottom right-hand side of both the Arcade and Console sections, and you can rotate through the options available by highlighting the genre sort and then press left or right on your joystick. (Version 1.0.11.)

If you have already updated the arcade, you are able to browse games using the filter on the left side of the Games section. You can filter the games by publisher or platform. (Version 2.0.0.)

How do I adjust the volume?

You can adjust the volume through the volume adjuster on the top right corner of the controller deck.

My game crashes after I changed the resolution.

The Legends Ultimate arcade only supports resolutions up to 1080p, changing to higher resolution is not supported and may cause system crashes.

How do I adjust the sensitivity of the joystick?

The sensitivity of the joystick can be adjusted in the setting page, this function help users to gain better gaming experience and enable users to play certain games more smoothly such as Burger Time.

Can I dim the screen?

No, the screen is not dimmable.

Can I save gameplay screenshots or video?

No, the Legends Ultimate Home Arcade does not support screenshot or capture functions.

Can I connect my own HDMI device on the arcade?

Yes, both USB and HDMI devices are applicable on the arcade, however, not all equipment are compatible.

Can I connect other AtGames products on the arcade?

Legends Ultimate supports the following AtGames products:

2019: Legends Flashback (FB8660), Atari Flashback X (AR3060), Bandai Namco Arcade Blast! (WD3305, WD3305S), Adventure Flashback Blast! (WD3308), Star Flashback Blast! (WD3309)

2018: Activision Flashback Blast! (WD3301), Atari Flashback Blast! Vol.1 (WD3302), Atari Flashback Blast! Vol.2 (WD3303), Legends Flashback Blast! (WD3304), Bandai Namco Flashback Blast! (WD3306). For 2018 Blast! and 2019 WD3305S please follow the instructions shown on the screen at SETTINGS to pair the dongle with Legends Ultimate.

Are USB devices hot swappable on your arcade?

Yes we support plug and play in the arcade menu; but please refrain from adding/removing USB devices during gameplay, as this may crash the arcade and will require a restart if it happens.

How do I change my button mapping when I play a built-in game?

You can change the button mapping when you’re in the game by pressing the [START] and pushing the Player 1 Joystick to the [Right] direction.

How do I change my button mapping when I play a built-in game for Player 2?

Currently you can only change the button mapping for Player 1. When you change the button mapping for Player 1, the new button map will be mirrored to the Player 2 controls.

Can I change the aspect ratio for displays?

Press [MENU] during gameplay, go down to “Display Mode” and move left/right to select from the 4 options (Center, Fit, Fill, Pixel Perfect).

I can't find my confirmation e-mail after creating an ArcadeNet account.

Please check your spam or junk folder for the e-mail.

I just built my arcade and need to update the firmware. How do I update the firmware?

You can update the firmware by going the Settings menu to connect to WiFi. Once you’re connected to WiFi or a wired internet connection you can initiate the firmware update by selecting [Check Version] in the Settings menu.

Why can't I download a firmware update?

If you are unable to download a new firmware update, please check that your router’s firewall settings are not blocking the Legends Ultimate’s connection. You can try to temporarily disable your firewall to download the firmware.

Other than the built-in 350 games, can I play additional games?

Yes, you may play additional games via ArcadeNet, BYOG, and APL. Please refer to the quick start guide in page 8 of the instruction manual.

I'm connecting to BYOG, but it's taking a long time.

When connecting to a BYOG server it will take 3-5 minutes for the server to start up. Once the server is up your arcade will be connected to the server.

If you exit BYOG, the server will remain powered on for 15 minutes. If you try to connect back in to the server with in these 15 minutes you will be able to connect instantly to the server. If you try to connect back in to the server after this 15 minutes, you’ll have to wait for the server to start up again.

How much hard drive storage space does my BYOG server have?

Your BYOG server has 250GB of storage space available for you to install games.

I cannot play ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™ because it is not enabled on my arcade cabinet.

You will need to update the arcade to the newest version to enable ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™. Go to the Settings section to update the arcade. Make sure you’re connected to the internet either through WiFi or a wired network connection.

My ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™ games stutter and lag.

Make sure you have a stable network connection with your arcade. Make sure there is no other device using your network connection such as a computer downloading large files or a TV streaming video. If your cabinet supports wired connections, try connecting an Ethernet cable directly to your cabinet from your router.

Why can't I play a particular game or games listed on ArcadeNet™?

If you’re having trouble with ArcadeNet™  connectivity, please restart your router and modem. Once your router and modem are back online, please power off your Legends Ultimate, then power it back on and try again.

How do I exit an ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™ game?

To exit a ArcadeNet™ or BYOG™ cloud desktop you will need to press the [MENU] button once to bring up the dashboard. Then you can use the joystick to select QUIT to exit.

How do I play my Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc., games via BYOG?

  1. Make sure there are BYOG hours available in your account. You can check this while logged in to the arcade.
  2. Select and launch a gaming platform such as Steam, Origin, Blizzard, etc.
  3. Use a USB mouse or trackball to navigate the desktop. When using the trackball, the joystick control buttons will change to mouse clicks. (A) Left Click – (B) Middle Click – (C) Right Click.
  4. Use a USB keyboard to type in your account information to sign in to one of the gaming platforms.
  5. Select a game to play from your game library.

Why can some Steam games work on BYOG but others cannot?

Please find our list of games fully-supported on BYOG here.

If you encounter any issues with a game not listed on the supported game list, please let us know so we can further track and look into the issue.

Can I use Steam's STREAM FROM PC option in the Steam client to play my games?

It is not recommended to use this feature to play your games on your BYOG server. When you choose this feature, the game is being streamed from your local home PC to the BYOG cloud server which then is streamed back to your arcade. This means your game is being streamed twice and will create more latency to the gameplay.

Can I use the trackball as my mouse in BYOG?

Yes, you can use the trackball to move the mouse cursor. When BYOG’s controls are set to AUTO mode, once you move the trackball, the joystick buttons [A], [B], [C] will become the left, middle and right click on a mouse.

Is there a virtual keyboard for BYOG?

There is no virtual keyboard available in this moment.

The arcade cabinet’s buttons are not working on my BYOG game. How do I map them to my game?

The arcade cabinet’s buttons act like the main buttons on an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. Thus, once you successfully launch a game using your keyboard and mouse as described above, you’re able to go into the game’s settings and try mapping the game’s buttons to the cabinet’s buttons. It may take some trial and error as BYOG is a do-it-yourself feature, but it is applicable for most games. Some games, however, will not work simply because their control schemes were never meant for an arcade cabinet’s controls. For example, first-person games that require two joysticks per player on a regular console controller will not work on the arcade cabinet since it only has one joystick per player. We recommend experimenting and searching online for anyone making recommendations for what works!

How long will BYOG servers keep my data?

If you still have BYOG hours remaining on your account, the BYOG servers will keep your server data available for 1 week. After 1 week of inactivity, your server data will be deleted. If you do not have any BYOG hours remaining on your account, the BYOG servers will keep your server data available for 24 hours. After 24 hours of inactivity, your server data will be deleted.

I was disconnected from the BYOG server after being idle.

Your BYOG account will be disconnected from the server if you are idle for more than 15 minutes.
