Each week for Arcade Gems we highlight some lesser-known, must-play titles. These games are favorites of those in-the-know, and, once you give them a try, we think you’ll agree that they’re worthy classics.

This week’s Arcade Gem is: Hachoo! (1989) by Jaleco Ltd. This all-time classic is a 2D side-scrolling beat ’em-up set in China.

In Hachoo! you must fight your way through numerous enemies in an effort to stop an ancient statue from coming to life. Using kicks and hand-to-hand combat, battle through fire-breathing, rock-throwing adversaries as you progress through the game. You can play Hachoo! solo or with a friend.
