For Arcade Classics, we highlight titles that exemplify the type of “just one more quarter” gameplay found in the classic arcades of a bygone era. Qix, pronounced “Kicks,” which first hit arcades in 1981, is an innovative puzzle action game where you have to capture Qix and avoid its mutant offspring before they destroy you. Beware of the Fuse and Spiral Death Trap as you try to box in Qix.
